Aviation it´s against redistribution of slots at brazilian airports

The Brazilian Association of Airline Companies (Abear) was against the new measures announced by the Department of Civil Aviation (SAC) for the redistribution of slots (takeoff and landing rights for aircraft ownership of airlines, so they can operate at airports Brazil).

The organization has represented airlines, and believes that the new measures can harm the popularity of the national air transportation since the measure may endear the passages.

One of the criteria is related to punctuality. If the airline provide a conduct of delays, companies can lose ground to more punctual ones. However, it may seem unfair since delays may involve climatic conditions that are not responsibility of companies.

The Abear asked for a debate, where the SAC’s role is limited to making suggestions.
