Expanding the flow of aircraft can be an alternative to Congonhas airport

With the displeasure of Abear regarding the redistribution of slots, one of the alternatives proposed by the airlines was the expansion of the movement operating at Congonhas airport in Sao Paulo.
It is believed that the airport could operate at a frequency of 34-48 movements per hour. In 2006, when the airport was operating at a frequency of 48 movements per hour, it carried 18 million passengers.
In 2007, following an accident involving an aircraft of TAM, was stipulated the limit of 34 movements per hour at the airport. In 2012, Congonhas arrived to transport 17 million passengers, a figure very close to the number of passengers in 2006, when it operated with more movements.
The increase in movements that would help even more airlines to be installed at Sao Paulo airport.
