São Paulo plans to construct bus terminal near Congonhas airport

Congonhas airport, located in the south of São Paulo, can earn a bus terminal. The plan of the city government is that the Terminal Jardim Aeroporto, as should be called, stay just outside the airport.

The forecast for its completion is by the end of 2016, according to information from the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo.

The bus terminal will have 13,000 m² and will serve the bus lane to pass along the 23 de Maio avenue.

According to São Paulo Transportation (SPTrans) number of lines that pass through the terminal and the amount of passengers that will be served still rely on studies to be conducted by the Municipal Transportation.

The city has also launched last week bidding documents for the procurement of the companies responsible for the construction of basic projects to 11 terminals, including Terminal Jardim Aeroporto.
